HEALTH

The Firm offers medical, dental, and vision coverage to Firm employees and their families, including domestic partners.

DEFINED CONTRIBUTION

Kirkland makes a Defined Contribution payment into the retirement plan on behalf of employees who meet the eligibility requirements.

RETIREMENT SAVINGS

The Kirkland 401(k) savings plan enables participants to provide for their future retirement security through voluntary pre-tax and/or Roth contributions.

TIME OFF

The Firm provides paid vacation time, as well as paid sick/personal time for illness and family care.

BACKUP CHILD & ADULT/ELDER CARE

Kirkland offers in-home and center-based backup child care and adult/elder care when your regular provider is not available, at a low fixed rate per visit.

PARENTAL LEAVE

The Firm provides leave of absence to eligible employees for the birth or adoption of a child. Eligibility is based on employment category and length of service.

WELLNESS PROGRAMMING

Kirkland offers a variety of wellness activities, including Firm-sponsored runs and walks, financial and retirement planning webinars, and community engagement activities.

COMMUTER PROGRAM

Employees can make a pre-tax contribution to an account that can be used for reimbursement for work-related commuting and parking expenses.

DEPENDENT CARE ASSISTANCE

This plan provides a tax-favored method of paying for child care and other qualifying dependent care expenses incurred while working.

  • Eligible employees who become disabled due to illness, injury, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions may be eligible to receive short- or long-term disability benefits.

  • To meet the needs of new mothers, the Firm provides a nursing mothers’ room along with prenatal breastfeeding classes and private consultation with certified lactation consultants and childbirth educators.

  • Kirkland personnel are permitted to wear business casual clothing on all workdays.

  • Many of our office locations have new cafes, coffee bars, and collaborative spaces providing premium coffee, tea and hot chocolate throughout the day, in addition to fruit and breakfast items in the morning.
