Essential Job Functions

The Travel, Meetings & Events (TME) team supports all departments within the Firm with a variety of meeting and event activity including the All Partners’ and Share Partners’ meetings.

This individual will be responsible for managing our Cvent tool and crafting content for TME, Legal Recruiting and Business Development related meetings and events. 

Essential Functions:

  • Primarily manage Cvent’s suite of event technology tools to develop and manage: event websites, invitations, registration, on-demand name badge printing and mobile applications.  Additionally, understand and support virtual meeting tools, such as Remo and the Firm’s internal email engagement tool. 
  • Oversee TME messaging and communications, crafting language for meeting registrations, websites and invitations.  Working with in-house graphic resources to develop impactful communication and invitation collateral; tracking email responses through the Firm’s internal email engagement tool. 
  • Manage meeting calendar invites utilizing Firmwide distribution lists.
  • Develop trainings and create documentation on event and/or communication technology for the TME team, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to increase department efficiencies in processes and operations related to event technology and communication vehicles.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required and ideal candidate will have at least four years’ experience in event technology, specifically Cvent with back ground in communications; preferable law firm experience.
  • Highly organized, possess excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and a professional, collaborative, team-oriented demeanor.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize a diverse range of assignments and projects.
  • Passion for event production/execution and logistics.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Technologies/Software

Technical experience should include proficiency in Cvent, as well as MS Word, Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
