Essential Job Functions

As a member of the Firmwide Legal Recruiting & Development Department (LRD), the Attorney Performance Management Coordinator will support the annual Associate Review, Mid-Year Associate Review, Year-End Compensation and Bonuses process and partner with LRD to foster the development, promotion, and retention of Firmwide Associates.

The Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the Associate Review processes in partnership with the Associate Review Committees and the Firm’s local Attorney Engagement teams.  

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Support all facets of the Associate Review process including:
  • Responsible for the scheduling and meeting coordination for each of the Associate Review Committee Practice Group Meetings
  • Support Firmwide Associates, Partners and Associate Review Committee members via the performance review website
  • Liaise with local Attorney Engagement team in administration of review process
  • Create support materials for Associate Review Committees including queries/reports, PowerPoint presentations and help guides
  • Send reminder emails via the performance review website to collect associate questionnaires and partner evaluations
  • Monitor and manage associate files/forms to ensure all associates have adequate feedback
  • Collect and prepare information for associate to partner promotions
  • Synthesize associate office hours
  • Support the associate review feedback process
  • Analyze themes from each cycle and partner with LRD to provide further support to associates
  • Serve as the team’s “project manager” by organizing and maintaining a shared OneNote

  • Mentor and delegate to department assistant.
  • Additional functional duties that relate to Legal Recruiting, Education & Development, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • A minimum three (3-5) years of experience working in Law Firm Attorney Training or Development preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be a team player; demonstrate strong client service; have the utmost respect for confidentiality and attention to detail; work independently and proactively; have the ability to prioritize work and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Individual must be flexible with work allocation and have the ability to work overtime.


  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Citrix, PeopleSoft, viDesktop.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
