Essential Job Functions
The Administrative Assistant provides support to managers and department, including the following: updating schedules and reviewing absences in PeopleSoft; processing expense reports; scheduling meetings; researching and compiling department statistics; creating and revising complex Excel spreadsheets; organizing and converting this data into charts and graphs for presentations and memos; creation of PowerPoint flowcharts and presentations; compiling data utilized for staffing decisions; tracking and monitoring department overtime; and assisting with other projects as assigned.
This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with great customer service skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to adapt to technology and emerging software, and commitment to department and organizational goals is necessary within our fast-paced legal environment.
