Essential Job Functions

POSITION OVERVIEW

Kirkland and Ellis is seeking a temporary employee to assist with the Summer Associate program and Campus Recruiting efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

Some of the tasks will include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare materials for interviewers and candidates
  • Provide event support (nametags, rsvp tracking, coordinating shipments, attending when needed etc.)
  • Coordinate calendars/scheduling
  • Assist with expenses and invoices
  • Assist with summer reviews
  • Maintain candidate files in database, ViDesktop
  • Enter interview schedules into ViDesktop and send to students and attorneys
  • Greet candidates
  • Collect and compile all interviewing feedback
  • Generate surveys and export responses in Novi
  • Create and update department documents in OneNote
  • Update letter correspondence and send offer letters with attachments
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes
  • Respond actively, thoroughly and courteously to the needs of clients and internal requests within the firm; work effectively and willingly with others
  • Other duties as assigned by Legal Recruiting & Development team

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.
  • Prior experience or interest in recruiting preferred.
  • High level of collaboration and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills including excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) abilities.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a very strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
