Essential Job Functions

The Benefits and HR Wellness Manager supports strategic HR initiatives and leads onsite and virtual benefits and wellbeing event coordination at the direction of the FW Director of Benefits and HR Operations and other members of the HR leadership team. This role will engage with and serve all offices and will be asked to support a wide range of HR initiatives. However, it is expected and the primary focus will be wellbeing and benefits. This role requires a results-driven professional who is highly organized, demonstrates keen attention to detail, is resourceful, and builds and maintains effective working relationships across functions and offices.

The Manager will complete projects in a timely manner and with limited direction and will exercise exceptional judgment in executing tasks. This individual will have the ability to anticipate risks and remove obstacles in accordance with Firm and department policies, procedures, and guidelines. Relevant experience in a large law firm or professional services environment is preferred.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, sound judgment, strong verbal and written communication ability, a demonstrated commitment to customer service, and the proven ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Lead implementation of certain strategic initiatives as set forth by the HR leadership team.
  • Demonstrates creative thinking in developing benefits and wellbeing events, including an ability to gain support and approval for ideas.
  • Interact successfully with a variety of business departments across the Firm and build positive and effective relationships across the Firm.
  • Track and document event checklist, surveys, invites and implement improvements based upon participant feedback.
  • Draft communication for announcements, invitations, project communications and project updates.
  • Document deliverables; develop/deliver presentations.
  • Escalate known issues/risks to project or event success to manager as appropriate when at an impasse.
  • Lead meetings, providing timely recap and manages the action items outside of meetings.
  • Prepare, analyze, and presents high quality deliverables on relevant HR data.
  • Ability to influence and balance priorities amongst portfolio of projects and events.
  • Utilize established measures to evaluate programs to ensure our HR initiatives continue to meet their objectives and add significant value to the Firm.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Required experience: 7+ years or experience in benefits or human resources and/or business analysis.  Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred.


  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • PeopleSoft or other HRMS a plus

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, as well as iPhone and Citrix for remote access.
