Essential Job Functions

The HR Recruiting Assistant will provide administrative support to the growing Staff Recruiting team and assist in day-to-day aspects of non-attorney recruiting across the US. There will be a focus on scheduling interviews and helping recruiters move candidates through the interview process quickly.

The HR Recruiting Assistant will gain exposure to various areas of the recruiting process and begin to develop an understanding of the general Human Resources function.


Assist with non-attorney recruiting process

  • Schedule candidates for hiring team interviews on Zoom or in-person
  • Troubleshoot candidate interview set up as needed, both in-person and virtually
  • Administer pre-interview testing for candidates and enter results in the Firm’s ATS
  • Schedule and conduct calls with professional references
  • Provide backup support for posting jobs on Careers Site and external job boards

Assist with New Hire Orientation for all new hires and rehires

  • Support HR Recruiting Coordinator with creating new hire materials
  • Assist with conference room setup and support other onsite logistics, when needed

Administrative duties include but are not limited to:

  • Initiate payment of recruiting invoices and follow up with any inquiries
  • Maintain physical and electronic records, and track daily activity
  • Provide recommendations for administrative process improvement
  • Assist Staff Recruiting and general HR team as needed virtually and in the office

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or high school diploma/GED and equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in an administrative support position or internship
  • Outstanding customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot issues independently, but understand when to escalate to senior team members
  • Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities at one time
  • Individual must have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times


  • Must be proficient in Outlook and Zoom for meeting management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Beginner Excel
  • Experience working with HRIS is a plus


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
