This position will report to the BI Manager in New York with an additional guidance from the Global BI Associate Director and the New York Business Development Director. The BI group operates alongside 135 diverse problem-solvers and advisers dedicated to Kirkland’s overall business development, marketing and communications function. Our international team provides seamless service to some of the brightest minds in the legal industry, with an emphasis on quality, innovation and responsiveness.

This position will also be involved in some of the BI team’s proactive market monitoring initiatives, and will have a seat at the table to inform these efforts. You will need to work independently while making intelligent, informed decisions. A successful candidate will be someone who can anticipate needs and take initiative. This position will focus mostly on Kirkland’s Transactional practice, and you should have general knowledge of how private equity firms function, as well as an understanding of the basic elements of an M&A transaction with the ability to distinguish between various types of deals.
