Essential Job Functions


The Senior Revenue Operations Analyst will work with the Billing Services department team members, attorneys, and practice assistants on various billing projects and initiatives. This position requires Elite 3E billing expertise, technical proficiencies and absolute commitment to delivery of service in a professional manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Support and review of e-billing function, including:
    • Set-up and ongoing maintenance of vendor sites.
    • Establish working relationships with e-billing site vendors.
    • Ensure all timekeepers, rates, and task codes are up-to-date on the sites; submit timekeepers, rates, and task codes for approval as needed.
    • Ensure three way communications between e-billing site, client and the Firm (as the e- billing site processes invoices based on the Clients’ Outside Counsel Billing Guidelines).
    • Track status of bills submitted, identify issues, and work to address rejections and reductions as they arise.
    • Manage e-billing training and process documentation/enhancements.
    • Support Billing Services team members e-billing inquiries.
  • Review billing and revenue operations for process improvement areas; develop and implement specific initiatives and change management efforts as required.
  • Responsible for  attorney billing administration tasks, including:
  • Client billing and collection activities for assigned clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring aging of unbilled fees for assigned partners and/or clients.
  •  Monitoring outstanding accounts receivable, unapplied funds and collection efforts.
  • Discussions with Billing Managers, Billing Coordinators, and/or Partners regarding monthly billing, outstanding invoices and strategy for collections.
  • Ad-hoc billing and client driven requests.
  • Coordinate upgrade activities specific to billing and collections systems and processes, including participation in testing and training of new systems and/or system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot questions, queries, and reporting requests from billing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements



Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Minimum of seven years of billing experience in a law firm.

  • Bachelor degree in business or equivalent experience.

  • Established collaboration skills and the ability to communicate with openness and transparency.

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at various levels within the Firm.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability and willingness to assess procedures and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes.

  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary to complete time sensitive responsibilities.
