Essential Job Functions
The Texas offices are seeking a Lateral Legal Recruiting Specialist to support the Legal Recruiting efforts across all three of our Texas offices. As part of the Texas Legal Recruiting and Development Department, the Lateral Legal Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for coordination of all aspects of lateral attorney recruiting, including, but not limited to, lateral hiring and relationship building with recruits, search firms, and vendors.
The individual must demonstrate sound judgment, strong client service and a professional demeanor; possess excellent oral and written communication skills; have the utmost respect for confidentiality; attention to detail; work independently and be able to follow up with minimal instructions; have the ability to prioritize work and work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional service industry. The candidate must also demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills, and the ability to work across all levels of management with various personality types; build relationships, be proactive, stay organized, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced, pressured environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with superior verbal and written communication skills.
