POSITION & ROLE OVERVIEW
The Firmwide Litigation Training Portfolio Coordinator is an integral member of our Firmwide Legal Recruiting & Development (“LRD”) Department. Reporting to the Firmwide Litigation Training Portfolio Manager, this coordinator will be a Firmwide resource that actively supports training delivery locally for the Chicago office, as well as for Firmwide training programming at Kirkland.
The Firmwide Litigation Training Portfolio Coordinator will serve as a master scheduler, coordinator, and day of event support resource for all Firmwide and Chicago-specific training programming, practice retreats and forums for Litigation. Additionally, this coordinator will be a first point of contact for Knowledge Management (“KM”) attorneys, other members of the LRD team, and attorney stakeholders regarding logistics for litigation training programming. Further, in this coordinator’s Firmwide role, they will also serve as a resource for other offices delivering Firmwide training programs.
The Firmwide Litigation Training Portfolio Coordinator is a highly visible role within the firm and responsible for a broad set of activities. The specific activities this Coordinator is charged with includes the following:
Activities designated to our Firmwide Litigation Training Portfolio Coordinator will continue to evolve and shift as needed based on the needs of LRD strategy or in support of LRD leadership.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; ability to adapt effectively to shifting needs, a very strong attention to detail; and a professional demeanor. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff to achieve results.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Technical experience should include MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with LMS or CLE Tracking Platforms (CE Manager) is preferred.
