Essential Job Functions
The Research Services Training & Outreach Specialist coordinates training and proactively markets online resources in all offices. Partners with the Electronic Resources Manager to roll-out new services and communicate changes to existing services to users. Utilizes available technology to create online tutorials and newsletters. Assists in development of the Library’s intranet. Assists the Director of Research & Knowledge Services with special projects as needed.
As a member of the Firmwide Research Services team, the Training & Outreach Specialist will provide non-legal research support to attorneys and staff in all offices as workload demands.

Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, proactive person with a Master’s degree in library science, business, law, or the humanities. Candidate should have 3+ years of working research experience in a large law firm or corporate library and be knowledgeable about business, corporate transactional, intellectual property, and legal research resources. Strong customer service orientation, ability to work independently as well as part of a Firmwide research team, and capable of handling multiple tasks and setting priorities is essential. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels.
