Essential Job Functions

The Digital Services Assistant is responsible for the daily coordination and processing of digital services, and mail related projects, activities and requests within the Los Angeles office. In collaboration with the Operations Manager, IT, General Services and secretarial services, this position is responsible for responding to requests related to formatting, creating, printing and assembling necessary materials in a timely manner. He or She operates production MFD printers, scanners, copiers, binding machines and other digital services related equipment.Additionally, the Digital Services Assistant will be responsible for completing various media duplication projects and requests using multi-unit media burners, including but not limited to, burn master CD/DVD of scanned images, creates CD/DVD from audio and video files and creates and applies custom labels to the disk(s).  This position will also record accurate billing information for all completed work on a daily basis and maintain accurate reports, logs and measurements related to digital services and reprographics projects.  Additionally, He or She will be responsible for purchasing both office supplies and Canon MFD related supplies, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

The Digital Services Assistant must be able to demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods. 
  • Previous law firm copying/scanning/printing experience or knowledge of legal document processing needs is required.
  • Ability to work overtime is required.
  • Associates degree or post-high school technical training preferred; high school diploma required.


  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
