Essential Job Functions

The Support Services Team is seeking a part-time File Assistant to work weekends.  Candidates must possess a high level of customer service and exhibit a professional phone demeanor.  Responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Answering and directing telephone phone calls and monitoring Outlook email mailboxes.
  • Printing, scanning, organizing, and distributing documents, and/or coordinating with support departments to arrange for copying, custom reprographics/binding, and courier services. 
  • General clerical tasks and other projects as delegated.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, fosters a sense of team, and approaches all encounters with clients and colleagues in a gracious, attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Resourceful, self-starter able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Schedule Requirements: Kirkland & Ellis LLP is an international law firm serving clients around the world 24 hours/7 days a week.  This position requires the ability to work Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm with flexibility for overtime as required.
  • Experience/Education Requirements: Some office experience preferred and a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.  High School diploma required.
