Essential Job Functions

The qualified candidate will have strong knowledge of California Employment Law. Strong customer service-focus with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality, and attention to detail is essential.  Additionally, the qualified candidate must be a team player, have the ability to take initiative, prioritize, complete work with minimal supervision, and effectively adapt to changing expectations and situations. The successful candidate will have high standards for personal performance and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A proven track record of sound judgment and problem-solving skills are critical.  Individual must have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times and intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel is required. PeopleSoft experience is preferred.  A bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of applicable human resources experience with particular focus on employee relations. PRH or SHRM certification a plus.  The successful candidate will have the ability to work occasional unscheduled overtime.


Qualifications & Requirements

The Human Resources Coordinator under the leadership of the Human Resources Manager will work with HR department team members and other groups throughout the Firm to coordinate general human resources activities in the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices.  Primary duties include assisting in handling sensitive employee relations matters, conducting benefits orientation, answering payroll and benefits-related questions, on-boarding/off-boarding of employees and partners, and assisting employees with leave of absence.  Additionally, the HR Coordinator will support staff recruiting activities, conduct new hire orientation, assist with office wide employee relations initiative, and perform other activities related to the general administration of the HR department.  The individual will work with Human Resources Manager to support positive employee morale and engagement. This position requires solid human resources experience with moderate benefits expertise, technical proficiency in various human resources applications, and absolute commitment to client service.

This HR Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager.
