Essential Job Functions

The Revenue Operations Assistant will support the Revenue Operations Manager specific to the Firmwide Shared Services functions of the Billing Services department. This role includes both financial system operational responsibilities, as well as supporting the Billing Services team, and will evolve based on financial system requirements and processes.

  • Review and maintain client/matters codes and information.
  • Maintain timekeeper code set-ups.
  • Modify and reconcile time uploads, as required.
  • Assist finance team in reconciliations and data integrity verifications in 3E.
  • Build and maintain standard and ad-hoc billing reports.
  • Support e-Billing Senior Coordinator, including maintenance of e-billed client/matters and enter timekeepers and rates as needed for billing coordinators.
  • Assist the Revenue Operations Manager as needed on various ad hoc projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The Revenue Operations Assistant will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Previous finance experience in a law firm of professional services company is preferable but not essential. Training will be provided to the extent required.  
  • The Revenue Operations Assistant is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service while producing a high quality work product. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential.
  • The Revenue Operations Assistant must possess outstanding interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.  The ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment is required.  Additional requirements include outstanding customer service demeanor and flexibility for possible overtime hours. 
  • Experience with report writing tools, including SSRS is beneficial. Strong analytical and technical skills are necessary.
