Essential Job Functions

Our Chicago team is looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our fast-paced and high touch department. This role will focus on full-cycle recruitment for a varieity functional areas including IT, HR/Admin, Accounting & Finance, Marketing and Legal/Compliance. This position will work closely with various department heads and hiring managers as a business partner throughout the recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes. 


Qualifications & Requirements

 6+ years of recruiting experience is required. Strong professional presence, communication, organization, and attention to detail required. Experience working in law firm or professional services is a plus. Candidates must be well-versed in Applicant Tracking Systems, PeopleSoft a plus.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs of the department
  • Collaborate with HR Coordinator regarding opening new job requisitions, the job posting process and acquiring salary range details
  • Prequalify candidates based on job description details and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for further consideration
  • Manage applicant flow within ATS
  • Manage phone and in-person interview processes including scheduling, testing and candidate communications
  • Partner with third-party staffing agencies as necessary for hard to fill positions
  • Proactively source passive talent for active roles and pipeline for potential future opportunities
  • Prepare recruitment status reports and metrics for hiring managers on a weekly basis
  • Manage offer and negotiations with final candidates and coordinate pre-hire and on-boarding steps with HR Coordinator
