Essential Job Functions
The facilities assistant is responsible for performing day-to-day repair and maintenance tasks throughout the firm’s office space. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cleaning of offices, pantries and restrooms, performing and assisting with internal office moves, installing pictures and artwork, repairing and assembling furniture, installing keyboard trays, and any additional maintenance or repairs required throughout the office space.
A. General Cleaning
1. Maintain and clean practice floor pantries.
2. Maintain and clean office space.
3. Maintain and clean restrooms.
4. General office space maintenance.
B. Office moves
1. Move furniture.
2. Move boxes.
3. Pack/unpack offices.
C. Carpentry
1. Hang pictures.
2. Assemble and disassemble furniture.
3. Repair furniture.
D. General
1. Answer and respond to work requests by phone and e-mail.
2. Maintain inventory in department supply room.
3. Ad-hoc tasks or projects
Qualifications & Requirements
The position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task while remaining focused in a changing environment.
Qualifying candidates should have 5+ years experience in a facilities-related role. Mechanical, carpentry and commercial move experience a plus. Knowledge of EMS and ServiceNow software systems a plus. High School diploma required.

Compensation:
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
