Essential Job Functions

This position supports the overall efforts of the Firm’s Human Resource (HR) function by assisting the HR Operations department with updating team documentation, entering data into the Firm’s HCM system, and performing HR data quality assurance checks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Primary responsibilities include:
  • Working alongside subject matter experts, learning data entry business processes in order to update and create relevant department documentation such as standard operating procedures, processes, email response templates, and workflows.
  • Accurate and timely data entry into PeopleSoft for new hires and terminations, personal changes such as name, phone, address, email, citizenship, visa, diversity demographics, education, clerkships, and languages, as well as job-related changes such as office transfers, salary changes, bonuses, office/cube updates, teleworker agreements, supervisor changes, department changes, etc. 
  • Auditing co-worker entries.  Audit findings may include identifying additional documentation and training opportunities.

  • Any other functions/duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of proven documentation and auditing work experience; preferably in an HR/HRIS environment.
  • Considerable initiative, outstanding customer service skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to management.
  • High energy level, can-do attitude, and high standards for personal performance. 
  • Work requires excellent proofreading skills, analytical ability, organizational skills, acute attention to detail, excellent follow-through skills, as well as keen judgment and problem-solving skills. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Individual must have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times. 
  • Ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, meet concrete deadlines as well as be a solid team player. 

Technologies/Software

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, skills Visio skills are required
  • Experience entering HR data in to an HCM system is required.
