Essential Job Functions
JOB DESCRIPTION The Business Intake Coordinator will review, modify, and process all new client, new matter, revision, and conflicts searches using the Firm’s automated business intake system. Using well-established standards, business rules, and policies as guidance, the Business Intake Coordinator will act as the Department’s first point of contact for all new requests. Along with the other Coordinators, this position will organize and facilitate large litigation and restructuring-related requests for searching and analysis. This position will interface with all members of the Business Intake and Conflicts team, as well as attorneys and their secretaries. This position is the primary monitor of the Business Intake and Conflicts hotline, the Department’s shared e-mail boxes and all pending intake requests for searching. The Business Intake Coordinator is responsible for setting up large search requests on behalf of attorneys and coordinating the department’s efforts on researching, documenting, and delivery of all search results and summaries. |

Qualifications & Requirements
Business Intake Coordinator is required to keep all documentation on the Department’s sharepoint sites relevant to both internal and external customers of the department. This position is responsible for upholding the standards and Firmwide policies of all new business processed by the Department, as well as implementing and policing standards of quality, consistency, accuracy and thoroughness, enhancing customer service, and improving efficiency. Two to three years of related experience processing business intake and supporting a functional area’s initiatives, including compliance and regulatory monitoring is preferred. This position needs to be familiar with legal terminology, possess a sharp business acumen and requires a strong attention to detail. A flexible schedule and overtime is required. This position requires a bachelor’s degree. |
