Essential Job Functions

The Coordinator of the Innovation Team will play a pivotal role in centralizing administration and collateral development across various segments of the Innovation function within the Firm. This role will primarily support Practice Innovation, Applied AI & Data Science COE, the Chief Innovation Officer (CiNO), and forthcoming capabilities.

The Coordinator of the Innovation Team will be an integral part of the Firm's commitment to driving innovation and excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of transformative initiatives and contribute to our long-term success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

Centralize Administrative Functions:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative needs within the Innovation team.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other collaborative sessions among team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and communication channels to ensure effective collaboration and information flow.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.

Collateral Development:

  • Support the development of collateral materials, including presentations, reports, and other documentation related to innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to gather content and insights for collateral development.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and quality standards across all collateral materials.
  • Maintain a repository of innovation-related documents and resources for easy access and reference.

Liaison with Innovation Pillars:

  • Act as a liaison between the Innovation team and various segments, including Practice Innovation, Applied AI & Data Science COE, and others.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different segments to foster knowledge sharing and alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional projects and initiatives that involve multiple segments within the Innovation function.

Support CiNO and Leadership Initiatives:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Innovation Officer and other senior leaders within the Innovation team.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CiNO or leadership team.
  • Engage with an owner’s mindset, ensuring project completion across necessary input from various departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible and adaptable, possess excellent proofreading and communication skills, have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, be able to meet concrete deadlines, have a can-do attitude, and be a solid team player.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field highly preferred. 2-4 years of previous experience in a professional services environment required.
  • Ability to work independently and lead execution of complex projects; our team works like a startup within a major organization, and we are looking for individuals who can take initiative and ownership and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in project coordination, administration, or related roles highly preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other collaboration tools; creative communications (e.g., expert use of PowerPoint, Canva or other tools) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with innovation processes, methodologies, and technologies is a plus.
