Essential Job Functions
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Chicago Senior Director of Administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supporting the Chicago Senior Director of Administration with the budget process, preparation and reporting on financial metrics and tracking vendor payments; complex calendar management, conferences and preparing travel arrangements and expense reimbursement. Plan and coordinate events, including luncheons and various senior management meetings. Prepare internal and external communications and proactively anticipate needs of the Senior Director of Administration. This position requires well developed organizational and communication skills as well as ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism.

Education, Work Experience, Skills
An Executive Assistant professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment. Qualifications include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong administrative, planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently on projects and also within a team environment. Ability to thrive in a busy, time-sensitive environment and maintain strict confidentiality. A Bachelor’s degree preferred, Overtime and travel as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
