Essential Job Functions

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Product Owner to join our Products and Platforms Team. This position is responsible for leading ServiceNow product team in the continued development, management and support of ServiceNow products including ITSM, HAM and SAM.

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Work with business stakeholders to establish and manage ServiceNow product roadmaps for IT Service Management (ITSM), Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM), aligned to business vision, objectives and vendor roadmaps.
  • Manage a team of contingent resources to deliver continued enhancements and new capabilities to ServiceNow products using SDLC and ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
  • Accountable for the integrity of product backlogs, including story quality, prioritization and velocity of delivery through product team planning, efficiencies, and resource levelling.
  • Accountable for ensuring the user experience and response time of your ServiceNow products are being measured and are not negatively impacted by development or configuration changes.
  • Remain current with emerging technology trends and developments, evaluating their potential impact in the scope of your ServiceNow product area.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on all run costs related to your product area, including licensing and resourcing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow product experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the digital product governance framework and security of sensitive data in the scope of ServiceNow and best practices.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

  • ServiceNow mainstream certification, such as CSA or CIS in a particular product is preferred.
