Essential Job Functions

The Senior Legal Operations Analyst is a member of the Investment Partnerships Group, which is responsible for the analysis, administration, and recordkeeping of the investment program on behalf of the Firm’s partners. The Senior Legal Operations Analyst will work directly with senior managers and partners of the Firm, with a focus on preparing subscription materials for investments, and coordinating with legal teams and attorneys for administration requests related to the program’s investments (including AML / KYC, LPA amendments, and general correspondence).

The ideal candidate will possess paralegal (or comparable) experience in one or more areas including M&A, private equity, debt finance, asset-backed securitization, fund formation, investment management, and/or venture capital. 

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Prepare/review subscription documentation and supporting documentation related to new investments.
  • Coordinate with legal teams and attorneys for administration requests related to the program’s investments (including AML / KYC, LPA amendments, and general correspondence).
  • Support the subscription, documentation, and fundraise processes with respect to internal entities.
  • Manage the input of data (e.g., new investors/funds) into software management system.
  • Actively participate in / contribute to process improvement efforts.
  • Involvement in complex projects and initiatives with other members of the team and partners at the Firm.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of corporate paralegal (or comparable) experience with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • The candidate must be self-starting, proactive, self-confident, organized, and a team player who can also work independently and sometimes assertively.
  • The candidate must have a strong customer service orientation, good people skills, and must be comfortable working with all levels of the Firm (both individually and collaboratively).
  • An understanding of leading practices related to the private market investing process is a plus.
  • Experience with Dynamo or other similar software a plus.
  • A general aptitude in Excel and Word is desired with some experience with general accounting software and database software is a plus.
