Essential Job Functions

This role will serve as the Platform Owner for one or more enterprise-wide SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow. The goal of this role is to implement, enhance, and maintain each platform, its capabilities, and the necessary operations such that Kirkland & Ellis attorneys and staff can leverage the benefits of the platform.

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

• Accountable for the development, delivery, support, COE services, operational performance, stability and scalability of the assigned SaaS platforms.
• Accountable for the growth and adoption of the assigned SaaS platforms.
• Work with the business, Enterprise Architecture and others to develop a roadmap and work queues for each assigned SaaS platform.
• Responsible for establishing and ensuring the effectiveness of proper governance for the assigned SaaS platforms.
• Responsible for understanding the capabilities of the assigned SaaS platform and sharing information, as needed, with the Technology team and stakeholders so that they can make educated decisions related to the roadmap, programs, and projects.
• Travel may be needed from time to time to meet with key stakeholders or enhance understanding of the assigned SaaS platform or related supplier solutions/services.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills:

• Five (5) years or more experience as a SaaS platform owner for enterprise-wide platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Certified Implementation Specialist in enterprise-wide platform such as ServiceNow ITSM.
• Other relevant certifications (e.g., System Administration, suite certifications) in enterprise-wide platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI, Prince) or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in IT/technology. ITIL certification is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in implementing and operating with managed services.
• Significant experience in negotiating agreements, SOWs, SLAs, and developing SOPs.
• Strong listening skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
