Essential Job Functions

The Contract Administrator will support the contract management life cycle of the Firm’s vendor agreements by providing post-execution organization of contract instruments, administrative management of the tools used to monitor and organize vendor agreements, and provide basic research, drafting, and execution assistance for the Procurement staff attorneys and other Procurement legal professionals. This includes familiarity with various contractual documents, excellent time-management skills, and the capability to adapt to new technology. This role requires close collaboration and communication with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing professionals and business owners to support the Firm’s procurement activities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and risk management objectives.          

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Maintain the contract repository and files; upload and tag key attributes of vendor agreements.
  • Serve as the administrator for various contract-related technology platforms used by the Procurement staff and act as a liaison for troubleshooting or enhancing features.
  • Assist in drafting form-based contractual documents, such as nondisclosure agreements, and conduct independent research required to complete such forms.
  • Assist in the preparation and signing of contractual documents. 
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on contract activity, vendor due diligence, and various criteria, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required in addition to two or more years of relevant experience.
  • Paralegal certification (or equivalent professional legal certification) and Law firm or experience with a corporate legal or finance department is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
  • Proven ability to adapt easily to new software and other web-based tools.
  • Exhibit strong customer service and good judgment in communications with attorneys, staff, and vendors of the Firm, including safeguarding the confidentiality of client and Firm information.
  • Attention to detail and the eagerness to learn and implement feedback in a consistent manner within a dynamic and growing environment are imperative.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure with a positive attitude and calm demeanor.


  • A working knowledge of MS Office suite with advanced Word editing skills are required.
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro is preferred.
  • A working knowledge of DocuSign is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • This job is a hybrid position with a mix of remote and in-office presence.
