Essential Job Functions
We are seeking an energetic, organized coordinator to support the marketing and business development efforts of the Firm’s market-leading, award-winning Investment Funds Practice Group (IFG).
As a key part of the Business Development (BD) team in our New York office, the IFG coordinator will contribute primarily to survey and directory responses, and media and awards nominations on behalf of IFG practice. In addition to crystalizing IFG’s topflight brand in directories and other media outlets, the candidate will also assist with various marketing and business development initiatives, including events, pitches and proposals, contact relationship management, branding, business/relationship intelligence, and internal communications.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, verbal communicator and critical thinker. The candidate possesses excellent organizational and project management skills, outstanding editing and proofing skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and a professional and polished demeanor. Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive information is also required.
The position will interact with attorneys and administrative staff across practice areas and all of the Firm’s offices, and work closely with two other local team members. The coordinator will also communicate and collaborate daily with the more than 140 diverse problem-solvers and advisers dedicated to the broader BD, marketing and communications efforts of the Firm. Our international marketing team provides seamless service to our attorneys, with a focus on quality, innovation and responsiveness.
