Essential Job Functions

This role is responsible for leading and managing the enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and associated standard and policies. This includes utilizing and directing the organization in the use of future state technology investments in cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) or on-prem platforms. This role will collaborate across knowledge management and business functions, IT, security and risk to seek input and guidance on our future state architecture to aid business and technology strategy and operations. This role will also be responsible to gain acceptance and compliance to our architecture standards and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads the architecture standard, evaluation and selection of current and future state of application and technology portfolio.
  • Implement and support architecture reviews of the enterprise technology and data portfolio assessing technical, risk, compliance and business criteria in support of the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the business, security, risk, project and operations teams to ensure technology works optimally to deliver the stated business objectives.
  • Working with the business, R&D team, technology and data delivery teams to promote innovation with outside-in view of the trends, practices and technological advancements.
  • Responsible for setting up Architecture Review Board (ARB) governance body to manage current or future technology change for the Firm (Build vs. Buy).
  • Responsible for establishing architecture standards, policies and tools necessary to meet the Firm’s transformation objectives.
  • Ensure all technology practices adhere to the Firm’s security, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Foster relationships with various relevant technology service providers to integrate latest trends and outside-in thought leadership.
  • Be the ambassador of the Firm’s culture and values.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in IT Architecture.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including agile, DevOps.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing end to end technology strategy (Enterprise Solution, domain, etc.) associated policies and procedures in a dynamic business environment.
  • Hands on experience on major cloud stacks (Azure preferred) in crafting and deploying modern applications architectures, application modernization/rationalization principles.
  • Experience providing deliverables across architecture domains.
  • Knowledgeable in the application of strategic frameworks and analysis, research and program management disciplines to solve challenging problems.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build high performance teams and set and execute goals as team leader.

Work Environment:

This job may operate in a hybrid workplace model. In office work is in a professional office environment and a high-speed internet connection is required to connect to our systems when working in a home office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
