Essential Job Functions

The e-Billing Coordinator will support the Associate Director Revenue Operations and the e-Billing Manager as it relates to the Firm’s e-Billing processes.  

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Administration of the e-billing function, including:
  • Proactively seek and identify enhancements to the e-billing process
  • Maintain documentation of existing processes
  • Provide training, as necessary, to impacted parties
  • Communicate e-billing guidelines and updates to appropriate personnel
  • Responsible for all tasks related to the set-up of new e-billing vendor sites, including:
  • Communicate implementation timeline to appropriate Firm personnel
  • Upload timekeeper rates
  • Enter billing rate and/or cost overrides
  • Ongoing maintenance of e-billing vendor sites, including:
  • Upload timekeeper rates according to the Firm’s rate change schedule
  • Change billing rate and/or cost overrides as necessary
  • Track e-billing vendor service agreement terms and spend
  • Other functions as required, including:
  • Maintain and create XLM invoice formats
  • Set up split billing scenarios
  • Provide input and support during financial system conversion, ensuring e-billing requirements are identified and implemented
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • The Revenue Operations Coordinator will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Previous e-Billing experience in a law firm or professional services company is preferable but not essential
  • At least three years of professional services billing experience, in addition to at least one year of relevant e-billing experience is required.
  • The Revenue Operations Coordinator is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service while producing a high quality work product. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential.
  • The Revenue Operations Coordinator must possess outstanding interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.  The ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment is required. 
  • Additional requirements include outstanding customer service demeanor and flexibility for possible overtime hours.

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
