Essential Job Functions

The technical support of pre-trial and at-trial functions including but not limited to graphics support, courtroom/warroom setup or ‘hot-seat’ support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide trial technology support and consultation for attorneys and support staff prior to and during trials, hearings and mock trials
  • Coordinate and train user on the use of trial presentation software, and respond to questions relating to litigation support, trial support vendors, onsite and courtroom networking, telephony, and overall trial logistics.
  • Provide creation or support for creation of high-end graphic for demonstratives per case team needs.
  • Advanced setup, support and troubleshooting of computer hardware, peripherals, imaging technology deployed onsite during trials and hearings.
  • Overtime and travel will be necessary for this position.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize relational databases, document databases, spread sheets, transcript management software to manipulate, migrate and extract data in a variety of formats for import and export into litigation, discovery and trial support applications.
  • Coordinate courtroom surveys, equipment rental, courtroom setups and graphic design projects with vendors.
  • Coordinate video digitizing video synchronization projects with vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Minimum required and preferred qualifications needed to effectively perform the job.
  • Education. Bachelor of Arts or Science from accredited College or University, required.
  • 5+ years of Legal Technology experience, required.

Technologies/Software

  • OnCue (preferred), Trial Director, TrialMax or Sanction. For Graphics specialists, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar graphics tools required. Video editing and conversion programs preferred Working knowledge of Relativity, TextMap, Concordance, MSOffice (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) useful. K&E Technologies (Citrix, Avaya) useful.
