Essential Job Functions

Under general supervision, the Receptionist supports the delivery of quality customer service to clients and firm personnel by greeting and directing visitors, directing incoming telephone calls that come through the office’s main number, forwarding messages, coordinating conference room reservations, and other administrative duties as assigned. The Receptionist works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. This position will represent the firm at the front line. Coverage of other departments including catering may be necessary.

The hours for this position are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years receptionist experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.  A high school diploma is required; associates degree preferred.  A minimum typing speed of 40+ wpm is required.  Basic knowledge of MS Word is also desired. 

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: 

· Outstanding telephone etiquette and customer service abilities.
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Punctuality. 
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Professional appearance and attitude.
